I like people. Talk to me in English o háblame en español.

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m really bad at small talk. Especially at work.

teenieweeni3:

Only in Oklahoma do you find a shirtless man who took shelter in a barn after freeing horses in the middle of a tornado, and after the interview as a reporter, you tell him to holler if he needs anything.
HE IS SHIRTLESS, COVERED IN DIRT, AND WAS OUTSIDE DURING AN F5 TORNADO. At least offer him a shirt.

Though there are over 7,000 living human languages, only a dozen of them actually matter. The majority of languages are holdovers from cultures that should have become extinct generations ago.

ethereallullabies:

“We believe in you, Sailor Moon…”

Right in the feels.

I’m bored at work. Ask me things.

I just had a friend from China, who I haven’t talked to in months…maybe even a year) email me because he heard about the tornados in Oklahoma and wanted to make sure I was safe. I didn’t even think he would have remembered where I was from. I’m blessed to have such wonderful friends.

So today was my first day back to work (at a bank I’ve worked at since high school) for the summer. I had been there for maybe two hours and decided to make myself a cup of tea. As I was walking back to my work station, I accidentally spilled quite a bit of the hot water on my hand. My dad, who used to be a fireman and knows a lot about burns, just happens to work with me. I called him over after a while to have him look at my hand. He said it was a 2nd degree burn, and it needed ice. We couldn’t find any Ziploc bags to make an ice pack with, so he gave me a Fla-Vor-Ice to hold on it…while I was helping customers. It was super classy.
